New York Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy

New York Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Manhattan, New York is dedicated to the highest quality of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts and  Women’s Self Defense instruction in the area of Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and Staten Island.  We are the Official New York Representative of Legendary 8th Degree Black Belt World Champion Rigan Machado.

We teach our students how to defend themselves in a realistic self defense situation by using the proven methods of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu system created by Grand Master Carlos Gracie and Grand Master Helio Gracie. We incorporate in our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction both the philosophies of  Machado Jiu-Jitsu & Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to give our student a very open minded and creative approach to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training.

We are committed to continually enhancing our programs to address exercises, drills, safety tips and a realistic approach to self-defense.  We employ full time instructors whose sole purpose is to continue the advancement of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the Academy and for the student. We “Build Confidence Through Achievement” and provide an environment conducive to positive relationships, fostering self-discipline, self-confidence and self-respect.
